Lepidography™

Lepidography™ is one of Alina Blossom Zadorozhna’s earliest surviving series, carried across displacement, memory, and reinvention. Each work is built from hand-shaped silk-wing structures through layering, repetition, heat-forming, and precise arrangement. The series honors butterflies without using real insects.

Fragments and Metamorphosis are current bodies within Lepidography™. Across them, partial wings, interrupted patterns, darkness, refuge, and renewal become a language for what survives. What appears delicate is evidence of endurance: fragility that refuses to disappear.
